Bruce Himmelblau is an award winning filmmaker with over 30 years of experience as a producer, camera & editor. His background in advertising & marketing has enabled him to create effective documentary styled videos for the web.
Livestream Producer – As producer of BSVP On-Site, Bruce and his team have covered film festivals, industrial conferences and corporate events. BSVP On-Site: Biz has been streaming weekly since March 2020. In addition to his own show, Bruce also produces and directs livestream shows for his clients who are spread across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
He now brings his combined experience in marketing and as a documentary producer to help businesses like yours to create engaging video content.
Our work
He has produced, shot and edited a variety of documentaries for film, music and corporate communications. His IMDB credits include the NBC special “Windy City Memories“, “My Word is My Bond: The History of the Chicago Board of Trade” and the Cannes Film Festival nominee “Sitting Ducks” and more.
Windy City Memories covered the annual party for Chicagoans in the film and TV industry who now live in Los Angeles, CA.
The show was hosted by producer Jonathan Scott and Patricia Kara (Deal or No Deal). Highlights of the show included interviews with legendary comedian, Shelley Berman (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Boston Legal, LA Law), Gail O’Grady (Desperate Housewives, Boston Legal, NYPD Blue) and actor/director, Joel Murray (Mad Men, Still Standing, Dharma & Greg & brother of Bill Murray) and more. The show also featured Jim Belushi (According to Jim), Mark DeCarlo (Family Guy, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius), comedian Tom Dreesen and Chicago Blues legend, KoKo Taylor singing “Wang Dang Doodle” In addition, the show included Joe Mantegna (Criminal Minds, The Simpsons, Witless Protection) and Tom Dreesen recalling what it was like growing up in Chicago.
Bruce teamed up with Jonathan Scott and BXTV again to produce “Las Vegas Makes Me Laugh” a a combination of celebrity interviews and reality show that focuses on the funny and peculiar side of Las Vegas.
Bruce also worked as producer and editor of “The Making of Partyline” the behind the scenes doc on the urban thriller “Partyline” 
and “The Making of The Rise and Fall of Miss Thang”. Both films are available on Amazon Prime Video.
As a producer for Blue Sky Video Productions, Bruce has worked for a variety of clients in the Chicago area as well as many filmmakers and businesses from LA to New York.
