Bruce has over 35 years of video production and editing for corporate marketing and internal communications. He co-founded Blue Sky Video Productions in 1986 with partner Sue Lawson at the time wedding videography was rapidly being adopted. He contributed to the chapter on videography in “The Knot’s Complete Guide to Weddings in the Real World” and “The Unofficial Guide Planning Your Wedding”
The past 15 years, Bruce has been working with independent businesses, non-profits and corporations to grow their businesses using promotional and internal communication videos.
FILMMAKING
Bruce was hired to produce 2 behind the scenes documentaries in the mid 2007, “The Rise & Fall of Miss Thang” & “Partyline” (renamed “Dangerous Obsession“). Both films are now available on Prime.
Also in 2007, as the editor, Bruce represented “Sitting Ducks” at the Cannes Film Festival
Bruce joined the crew of “Indie Film Nation” as producer & co-host. The podcast covered multiple film festivals including, Cannes Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, Chicago International Film Festival, Midwest Independent Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival, to name a few, as well as setting up virtual interviews with independent filmmakers casts and crews.
