This past weekend, the Lake Bluff History Center hosted the 2022 Ghost Walk.
Community volunteers performed short skits in various locations around town highlighting historic events in Lake Bluff, IL led by a “Lab Technician”.
Guest ghosts included General MacArthur who stopped in Lake Bluff in 1951.
Al Capone who shipped liquor through Lake Bluff
Ginerva “Daisy” King, the inspiration for the character in the “Great Gatsby”
A pair of ghostly butchers who told a tale in front of the oldest building still standing in Lake Bluff
A trio of singing pumpkins with the mystery of Alfrieda Knaak
